A little about me! I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, but currently call Lenexa home along with my Marine Veteran husband Brian, and our new son Wyatt. I received my BA in Finance from Kennesaw State University in Georgia before starting my career as a State Farm Team Member. I was so inspired by my experience I decided it was time to start my own branch and continue to share State Farm with my local community.

My life, probably not unlike yours, has unfolded as a never ending revolving door of change. State Farm has been there to support me at every twist and turn, which is why I am bringing Kelsey Ballard State Farm, Lenexa to my local community as that same honest source for guidance and support as you navigate throughout life. My team and I are excited to build relationships in the Lenexa community and look forward to helping families like yours; working together to protect you from the unexpected while advancing you towards your goals. I was born in Albuquerque, NM, but moved to Lenexa in 2001. I attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School and Benedictine College, then spent a few years teaching high school before transitioning into an insurance career. I hold licenses in Property & Casualty and Life & Health for both Kansas and Missouri. In my spare time, I love spending time with my kids, going fishing, playing outside, or losing to them in chess.

I completed my undergraduate degree at Kansas State University studying Social Science. After that I spent a few years exploring different states and different jobs before deciding to come back home and settle into a career with insurance. I currently hold a Property and Casualty license and Life and Health license. Whenever I'm not helping my Kansas and Missouri customers with their insurance needs, I'm either walking my dog, having brunch with my parents, or having a low-key movie night.
